von Tim Remis (Challenger, Sweet Cobra, Killing Tree). Zur Veröffentlichung der Übersetzung eines seiner Bücher ins Deutsche wird Al Burian zwischen dem 07. und dem
25.01.2009 Geschichten aus seinem Zine Burn Collector (in deutsch und englisch) lesen. Tragikkomische Kurzgeschichten vom Scheitern am täglichen Geschehen, lustig,
absurde Alltagsszenarien, -beobachtungen vorgetragen im unverwechselbaren Al Burian Stil, gemischt mit kurzen musikalischen Attacken garantieren für einiges
Entsetzen und etliche Verwirrung. An Unterhaltung wird es auf jeden Fall nicht mangeln.

* Auxes : is a new bandproject of Dave/Milemarker. Next tour scheduled for spring 2009. Get involved!
Auxes is the new all star band from Chicago/Chapel Hill with people from Fin Fang Foom, Challenger, Milemarker, Sleepytime Trio, Bats and Mice and Ben Davis and the Jetts.
There will be a release in some form on the company with the golden arm some day.
* Des Ark : are on tour right nooow!!! Lovitt Rceords will release a Live Radio session and a new record is planned for spring
* Anthem Red / Jo solo : Jo is going to school and recorded some solo demo somgs. You can hear them on
my and Anthem Reds website! How did she described this herself? Thrilling uncertainty. Yes, yes ...
* Experimental Dental School : announced a european tour for march 2009.
Right now they are still on tour with Deerhof.
* Stanley Kubi : had a furious show at Fusion Festival ... i just saw Macario on stage waving bottles
of Cognac and actually emptying a bunch. Well as friendly as he is he shared them with half the crowd and there were probably 1.500 people in the room. Hahahaha ... one of the
best shows, live bands i saw in a couple of months.
* Lake Me : are working on new material and are coming back playing shows with Des Ark in november.
They will bring a friend on tour. Gem Andrews. So its a package. Wow! See tourdates!
* VAZ : are back ...they play shows, theres a few new people involved and they will record a few new songs before this year ends.
Paul will go on tour wit Shit and Shine. So may look out for tourdates.
